Great support!: The first couple of times I wore these, I wasn’t sure. I had been wearing Sketchers pickleball shoes, and these were less cushy but have better arch support. Although they don’t feel as soft when I wear them, I have much less foot and knee discomfort after I’m done playing. They did take a little bit to break in, but now that I’m used to them I can see that they provide far more support. I’ll definitely be back for another pair when these wear out.

I find they run true to other Adidas shoe sizes, and going up half a size made them too large. I do like that they have a large toe box though. Could use some more ankle support for stability.

Oddly built & throws sizing off.: After wearing 9 or 10 pairs of Adidas tennis shoes over the years, this is the first time I have found the fit off ( small ) & construction strange. I usually size down to a 7, as I am a true 8 in Women's. This shoe may have fit, hard to tell because the upper back of the heel was ridiculously bulky & forced my foot forward... Not sure of the point of this? Its beyond "support" in my view.., kinda bummed.

Some retail revues say they are tighter in the toe box but I found them much tighter in the mid-foot and lower cut around the ankle and heel which, I felt made for loss of support. Not enough size options: I'm an avid tennis player who wears size 11.5 in athletic shoes, and the Avacourt has been my go-to shoe since it came out. Super comfortable and unlike the many other shoes I've tried over the years did not cause some kind of painful foot or ankle issue over time. But the new Avacourt 2 feels at least a size smaller than the previous version! Adidas also stopped offering this shoe in size 12, so I can't size up. Very unhappy.
