Black Ace XF

85Universal Acclaim

The Black Ace XF is widely praised for its exceptional power and lightweight design, making it a favorite among players seeking aggressive play and quick exchanges. However, quality control issues (cracking sounds), a steep learning curve for less experienced players, and notable noise during play are consistent drawbacks that temper enthusiasm.

ProKennex Black Ace XF: My favorite paddle, very powerful, also it’s not difficult to control as people thought of. I love it. The XF made my singles play even more powerful now.

Black Ace xf: Made an unusual cracking sound when you hit the ball. Seemed broken, faulty. Prefer the pro model.

Loud!: This is a very good paddle! I've been using a Kinetic pro speed for a couple of years, but I wanted one with a longer handle. The paddle face is also larger, but it isn't heavy. It is also giving me the power I want, but boy, you hear it! It's got pop! It's an expensive paddle, and I'm disappointed that it didn't come with a paddle cover.

Great Power Paddle: I love the power that I can generate in my ground strokes and volleys that I have with this paddle. I am able to volley balls back over the net that I was not able to do with other paddles. I had a lot of pop ups from the power of this paddle when I first started playing with this paddle. I am having less pop ups after weeks of drilling, but I know that I will need more weeks of drilling with this paddle to even have less pop ups.

Black Ace FX: Crazy power in this paddle. I,m still somewhat of a banger but the ball really pops off the paddle. Need to be a experience player to handle this model. I.m getting use to it and it is a big advantage on ground strokes and at the kitchen.

Black Ace XF: The paddles is weighted well and I enjoy the soft touch for resetting points. However as a paddle that I’ve heard other rave about the power they get, I don’t see it. I find I have to hit the sweet spot dead center to get the same power I experience from other paddles. I feel like I’m playing with a 16mm paddle. Same experience with the spin. Not nearly as much as other paddles I have tried. The kinetic system does definitely help with some shock absorption and would recommend it f

ProKennex Black Ace XF: Great paddle with lots of pop. Real light which makes it good for quick exchanges at the kitchen.
