Service: The Paddle is Great, the customer service even better

CRBN
The CRBN 1 TruFoam Genesis receives overwhelmingly positive feedback for its innovative foam core technology, exceptional spin generation, and improved control with reduced arm vibration. However, some reviewers note that the elongated shape sacrifices sweet spot consistency, and the paddle's power output falls short of expectations compared to previous CRBN generations, with a learning curve for certain players.

Our CRBN Genesis Paddle 1 and 3: Compare with ours old CRBN PWR1, we feel less vibration in our arms especially around the elbow. We gain more control and spin and I didn’t lost any power compared of my other paddle. But I gained more control over the mix of power and spin and my wife also she even gained more power with less effort. So for us it is a positive change.

Best paddle on the market.: So much feel and plenty of power when needed.

The Future is FOAM: This is a great paddle with a forgiving sweet spot and solid power. The elongated shape is the one to get for reach and comfortability.

Awesome paddle!: This is my third CRBN paddle. I've played with the CRBN 1 and the CRBN 1x. It took me a few play sessions to get used to it. At first it felt a little head heavy compared to the 1X but once I added a weight strip to the lower sides of the paddle, it was perfect. It's very consistent, imparts good spin, and affords both power and control. I highly recommend it!

Love!: Played with my TruFoam for the first time. Wow! Love it. Soft on dinks. Great power. I played with the 1x before and this is a step up. A lot of YouTube reviewers said it takes awhile to get used to it but I found that I liked it and adapted to it right off the bat. My shots had better precision. I liked the dwell. Felt like I could drive the ball at the kitchen much better. Good spin. Can’t wait to get out and play with it again .

Amazing paddle, and amazing customer service: Won my first tournament with this paddle. I love generating topspin, and with this paddle there seems no end to the shape you can put on a ball. My resets have drastically improved with this paddles, as have my drives and dinks. Customer service is beyond amazing. Fully endorse.

Best paddle if you have tennis background: This paddle changed my game for sure. That extra dwell time between ball and paddle in contact allow me hit a ball more or less like in tennis. It is great for top spin. Strongly recommend to use weighted tapes to enhance the power. The paddle gives me better control.

Genesis TF 1: I noticed I got to a few lucky balls I didn’t expect to so the length you get is something you notice immediately between the 1-2/3. The sweet spot really suffers on elongated and I found spin, accuracy, placement and drives better with the two. I was all about elongated and only ever got elongated paddles but this is probably going to be my first switch. Power, pop, forgiveness, placement, maneuverability all there on the 2 and seems to just play a much truer and sure feel. The 1

It's fine: It's fine. It's a decent paddle but not what I expected based on the hype. The power and pop are way lower than Gen 3 paddles, so if that's what you were expecting, don't go for this. Good control and good spin. The dwell time wasn't noticeably better than Gen 3 paddles, which was disappointing because they were marketing it as feeling like closer to a tennis racquet - it's not, definitely still feels pretty much like a normal pickleball paddle in terms of dwell time.

CRBN’s latest and greatest has been long awaited. Being teased and developed for 18 months, their TruFoam technology finds its first home in the Genesis lineup. It’s truly unique. And while it’s the first 100% foam core (not counting Gearbox’s ribbed core), the ground-breaking tech isn’t what you’d expect in today’s game.
