Not for me: Had a “dead” CBRN 3X after 1.5 years of use and decided to try the foam upgrade. Handle shape (pronounced angles) distracted my play, even with cushion over wrap applied. The other best feature for me is the vibration absorption due to its foam core. Whereas other stiffer core paddles give me pickleball elbow, this one does not.

They have a lovely, softer feel than the X series, which very often felt stiff for me out of the box. Power is up probably 30%... not as lively as a Mod or GB, but in a very controllable way that rewards good swing mechanics. Spin is ridiculous... definitely the "spinniest" paddle I've ever played with. Every time I play there are a few occasions where I thi

Wow: Love it. Only took me a couple of games and drill sessions to completely fall in love.
