Electrum Pro II Pickleball Paddle

88Universal Acclaim

The Electrum Pro II is widely praised for its excellent power, control, and spin capabilities, with most reviewers giving it top marks. However, the paddle's weight, small sweet spot, and stability issues are notable drawbacks that may not suit all players, particularly those preferring softer control-oriented paddles.

Electrum Pro 2: Excellent paddle for control and power. However, both my previous Electrums developed movement over time between the paddle and the handle. Fortunately, both were under warranty and quickly replaced by Pickleball Central.

Good paddle - tiny sweet spot: I really wanted to love this paddle. The power is great. I had no problem adjusting to dinks. Resets were more difficult, but to be expected. Spin was amazing. The sweet spot is miniscule. Any off-center shot suffers greatly.

Nice paddle but it was not for me. I could not feel the ball on the paddle. The ball pops off the paddle. It was hard for me to control the ball: Nice Paddle but it was not the paddle for me. Its a power paddle. I am used to control and finesse.

Electrum Pro 2: I enjoyed this paddle the moment I hit with it. It has great power and control and it wasn't hard to convert from the Electrum E Model to this one. I am a 3.0-3.5 player and I feel that this paddle will help me raise my level.

Electrum Pro 2: I usually use soft/control paddles, but for my new paddle I wanted something with a little more pop/power and this paddle brought that. This is a head heavy paddle and doesn't have a big sweet spot like your thicker control paddles would. The ball pops off the paddle, but it can be controlled. I would say this paddle would be for someone 4.0 and up. Also Pickleball Effect on YouTube has a good review of this paddle. https://youtu.be/Vh7kMGicRiw

Amazing paddle. Poor shipping.: I prefer to slice and add as much spin as possible. This paddle allows me to do it more than anything else in my bag of paddles. This is however the first paddle I purchased from pickleball central. Other sites ship using padding or bubble wrap in a box with UPS or FedEx. This had no protection in a thin mailer. Thankfully it arrived in good condition. In the future, I'll purchase paddles elsewhere and wouldn't recommend PC until they match shipping methods.

Solid but flawed : I was really looking forward to a thin core Electrum, having been a fan of the 13mm CRBN. Overall, the paddle does have more pop than the thicker core original Electrum models, and the spin potential seems similar. It kind of feels like the 2nd generation nomex core paddles from Gamma, But there is one glaring issue and that is a lack of stability. Very noticeable when volleying hard drives, as the paddle really twists on off center hits. It definitely requires some modificat

Electrum Pro II: First impressions - Heaviest of all my paddles. Feels like I’m swinging Thor’s hammer. If you like a light paddle, this may not cut it. I’m a big guy, so it really doesn’t affect my shots much. Took me a couple of games to get the feel. More power than my Electrum e and CRBN1, but still has good control. Ball comes off the paddle like a canon, but still accurate for dinks and drops. Spins like a demon. I can get my ball to kick 4 - 5 feet in either direction. I have a
