I like it: I also have the 16mm Dynasty Tour. This plays... similar. Much smaller sweet spot. It has made me become much more conscious of where on the paddle I'm hitting the ball and in that regard, I've been playing better. I love the lightness of this paddle. Switching back and forth feels like going from a weighted training paddle to a jedi lightsabre. So much faster with the Featherweight. I love having this in my arsenal.
After buying over $2000 worth of Franklin paddles over the last 3 years, this will be my last. Materials are still very poor and paddles tend to go dead fairly quickly. I’m a 4.0/4.5 level player, and I’m lucky to get a solid month from any if these paddles besides the old Ben Johns 13mm (the paddle that made me stick with Franklin). This Dynasty has no sweet spot that I’ve been able to find, other than the shot that lands 3 ft out even though I’ve hit my same consistent stroke. This paddle
Love this paddle!: I love this paddle. I have been searching for a lightweight paddle for a long time.
Love the Lighter Weight of the FeatherWeight: The Franklin Dynasty12 FeatherWeight is my lightest and most favorite paddle to date. As an Advanced Intermediate Women in early 60s I love the longer handle for a two handed backhand, and the elongated head for a larger sweet spot. As it’s the lightest weight it feels less like a club and more like an extension of my arm. The light weight is providing head speed at the kitchen for inevitably fire fights while allowing me the opportunity to control t
Smartest buy you will make: I love this paddle. It's super light so it makes it easy during a hands battle. It has a lot of pop for a thin paddle and has great control for drinking. I highly recommend this paddle. I couldn't put the ball away with my previous paddle, but I have no problems with this Franklin paddle.
Awesome paddle!: Got mine went to the court and didn’t loose a match. 7 for 7!! Great control.
Franklin FS Tour Featherweight Tempo Pickleball Paddle: I purchased this a few weeks ago, and it is doing well for my play. It is already a bit marked up from contact with the balls - that surprised me.
This is a GREAT “control” paddle! It’s weight is also ideal for “fire fights” at he net. Drop shots are much easier b/c of the light
This paddle is perfect at the kitchen in hand battles.
So far the paddle is nice. Very difficult adjustment from a 16mm to a 12mm. Priced well, but terrible packing. The paddle came in a brown box wrapped in one piece of bubble wrap. Anytime you see the ads the paddles were displayed in a box with a cover and 2 Franklin balls. That made the excitement level a little less when opening. Going to keep playing with it and try to adjust.
