Gearbox CX11Q Power Pickleball Paddle

83Universal Acclaim

The Gearbox CX11Q receives mixed reviews, with strong praise for its thin profile, compact grip options, and control-oriented design that excels at dinking. However, some reviewers report inconsistent power on serves and drives, and a limited sweet spot that produces weak off-center hits—concerns that undermine its positioning as a power paddle.

Cx11: Good paddle, it is the thinnest I have tried, I like it because it does not have power . All my other paddles I keep hitting long. This paddle is the least amount of times I hit long, and it is great for dinking … I would buy this paddle again

CX11Q: I have a C I play with a CX14Q. I purchased the CX11Q because I wanted a little more power and the handle length was shorter. It would have been perfect if it was a little shorter

Good Paddle but has limitations: Overall, I have mixed feelings with the Gearbox CX 11 Power paddle. I have found that you have to hit the ball in the middle "sweet spot" with this paddle If you hit the ball near the edges of the paddle, the ball will come off the paddle very weakly. For a $200 paddle, I was expecting better results with off center hits.

Review of Gearbox CX11Q Power PB Paddle: I did not care for this paddle. I had previously borrowed a GX5 Power, GX5 Control and GX6 Control Elongated. I like them all. Reviewing the CX11Q online I thought it would be even better. But, it felt very weak on serves and drives. That's just me. I have seen quite a few players at Palm Creek Resort with the CX11Q's, so it works for a lot of players.

Love the small grip: I bought this paddle because it comes in the 3 5/8 grip. I love the smaller grip. Still deciding if I like the paddle.
