Gearbox Pro Control Fusion: Who writes these reviews? I play 6 days/week, and I have played with this paddle for the last month and have zero complaints - it hits great. The texture is not just painted on - sure to last much longer than other control paddles. I give it a 10/10.

Paddle weight and performance: Gearbox prides itself in excellent process control, so i am a bit disappointed that at 7.75 oz the weight of my paddle is well outside the specification range 7.9 oz to 8.1 oz. I have not have a chance to play much yet; the paddle feels great and is very responsive. I just hope that the out of specs weight is not an indication of a manufacturing flaw and of a bigger problem

Gearbox Fusion Control: Upon using this paddle I discovered that the surface appears to be slightly thinner around the perimeter about 1” in from the edge. It’s not different by a lot but it’s noticeable to me and PB Central tells me that once I used a Gearbox paddle they won’t take it back. I have sense observed a couple other paddles and they all have this feature but to me it looks terrible, almost like there is a thicker insert in the middle of the paddle that doesn’t extend all around to
