Pickleball at it's finest: Higher end pickle ball paddle at a reasonable price.
Head
The HEAD Extreme Elite receives strong overall praise for its solid build quality, comfortable handle, and good balance of power and control at a reasonable price point. However, a recurring durability issue with grip tape peeling at the base of the paddle is a significant concern that has affected multiple units, potentially undermining long-term value despite the paddle's otherwise positive performance characteristics.

Lightweight Paddle with decent power: I bought this paddle to replace my 5 year old paddle. For the money, it’s a solid choice. It’s lightweight, has a good hitting surface, and the handle is quite comfortable. There was no noticeable ramp up time to get used to a new paddle.

Fine Retailer: Some friends want me to play PB, and so I researched and ordered a Head Extreme Elite paddle. Seems to be a really good beginner paddle. Head makes good stuff. Dealing with PB Central was educational, easy, and efficient. Shipping: ordered on Wed. and delivered Sat. in Louisiana. Fine online retailer.

Pickleball paddle: I love the feel of the paddle but I do have an issue with the tape around the grip. The tape at the bottom of the paddle where it meets the grip comes undone. I've exchanged the paddle two times and this is still a problem. I would like to keep playing with this paddle but will have to change if this one does the same thing. It's to expensive to have grip re-taped. Any suggestions.
