HEAD Extreme Tour Graphite Pickleball Paddle

95Universal Acclaim

The HEAD Extreme Tour Graphite receives consistently strong praise for its soft touch, control, and responsive feel, with reviewers highlighting the quality grip and solid build. The primary drawback is limited power generation, particularly noticeable for beginners transitioning from lower-quality paddles, and some dead spots on the edges that require careful shot placement.

A good clean hitting paddle: So far I'm loving this paddle. In my playgroup, I'm the only one rocking one of these. Most are playing with carbon or legacy paddles. A year ago everyone was playing with Engage paddles. I like the way this paddle feels and the way it works when I'm hitting and dinking. Soft touch. The dead spots on the edges are VERY dead and you have to be careful about hitting there. Otherwise great.

More control, not a lot of power: I am a beginner (5 months) on Pickleball and always had crappy paddles. I decided to go big with the Head Extreme Tour without knowing how it would be compared to the crappy ones I had. I really like the feel of the grip. I have a bit more control but not a lot of power, compared to the crappy ones. Sometimes I switch paddles between the Head and the crappy ones, but that lasts for 3 or 4 shots and I come back to the Head paddle.

Great Head: I enjoy this paddle very much...the shaft is great...feels firm. I like the way the balls bounce off it too. Hasn't stopped the old men from beating me good though.
