JOOLA Andre Agassi Pro IV Pickleball Paddle

87Universal Acclaim

The JOOLA Andre Agassi Pro IV is widely praised for its generous sweet spot, solid feel, and balanced performance across speed, spin, and power. However, durability concerns about cracking and fragility are significant drawbacks that undermine its otherwise strong reputation, and some players find it too power-oriented for their control-focused game.

Solid paddle, great sound and feel: Coming from tennis I selected this paddle because of its looks and shape and being endorsed by a tennis player. Great feel and sound, really solid drives and volleys. Spin not outstanding but control very good. Not a high-power poppy paddle, you need to swing hard to hit hard.

Good but Fragile: This 14mm paddle is light and allows power on your shots. Easy to dink with it too. I added lead tape to sides to stop paddle twisting on shots I had to reach out for. Worked very well and gave stability the light paddle needed. My only issue is its fragility. I never hit the paddle on anything except the ball yet I noticed cracking on the corner. Joola would not take it back as blamed me even though only had it about 2 months however Pickleball Warehouse exchanged it for me. T

Favorite Joola Paddle And Shape: First off major kudos to Pickleball Warehouse. Their selection, customer service and turnaround speeds are some of the best in the industry (and definitely better than my local stores). The Joola Agassi Pro has a very generous sweet spot which makes it very forgiving for off center shots. I'm not sure if it's just marketing and placebo, but the sweet spot did feel a little further up the paddle which made things very comfortable and natural for me (coming over fr

Joola Agassi Pro: I’ve demoed and played seven different brands of paddles. The Agassi Pro IV 14mm has the most power and sweet spot. However, it doesn't fit my game. I have too much power from my swing, which is difficult to control when I'm not 100% synced. I came from a tennis background and needed a paddle with more control and less power. I will try a Paddletek.

The JOOLA Agassi Pro is no marketing gimmick. This is a 5* paddle that provides a great mix of speed, spin, and power. Despite all that power, it's still lightweight and maneuverable, making it ideal for quick hand battles at the kitchen and aggressive play. The textured carbon fiber surface helps generate heavy spin. While the paddle comes in two options (14 mm and 16 mm), I personally recommend the 16 mm version. The power and pop are comparable to the 14 mm, but you get a softer feel on co...
