Love this paddle!: This is my second Hyperion paddle. I’m a 70 year old intermediate rec player. I got it initially based on the recommendation of a high level player. It really helpsto absorb impact and I love the control it gives me. I would really like to be able to replace the wrap ( when the time comes) with this exact one as the grip is excellent.

Spin & Power & Control Oh My!: Love it from the get-go. I'm just getting into pickleball a bit seriously so this was an amazing step up from my prior setup. Great control, didn't notice a huge learning curve to get used to any overshots. Spin is a BIG change from my prior paddle, which to be fair was basically a piece of cardboard. Much Better Than My 1st Paddle: This paddle is much better than the 1st Paddle that I bought. 1. All shots feel solid with this Joola. Any shots outside my 1st Paddle’s sweet spot seemed to die. 2. The grip on this Joola feels really good to hold. My 1st Paddle’s grip just did not feel right. My 1st purchased Paddle had good reviews and cost $90 but just did not perform well. The Joola is much more expensive but is night and day better than the 1st Paddle that I bought.
