Good paddle - overpriced: Paddle plays really well but is overpriced. I also bought a Vatic Pro for half the price and it plays just the same in terms of power, spin and control. It is also thermoformed construction.
Great for fresh starters: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paddle is so comfortable and light. I am new player, lack of experience, but I feel pretty confident with this paddle. I am petite, so thought it would be hard to handle, but it’s convenient. The surface of the paddle has texture, which also helps play easier. I used it sometime and condition stay very good, can prove durability.
Sturdy and ball control: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paddle is a solid choice if you're after a good mix of power and control. The 14mm thickness gives it a nice, sturdy feel and helps with ball control, while still letting you put some power behind your shots. The paddle is well-balanced, and the grip is comfy for those long games. Overall, it's a great option for players at any level looking to up their game.
Awesome paddle: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pickleball paddle has been so fun to use with my friends! I never really played pickleball before but this paddle has made it easy to start playing.
The JOOLA Perseus Pro IV is a lot of fun. I have the 14 mm version and it's one of the most explosive paddles I've played with. It's built for players who like to drive and attack, so it may be difficult for players who rely more on touch and finesse. For that reason, I don't recommend it for beginners. However, if you're a rising intermediate or advanced player who wants a high-level power paddle, the high price tag is worth it for you.
Plenty of pop!: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paddle has a solid feel to it. There is plenty of pop while still maintaining great spin on the ball. Highly recommend this paddle to any player who is looking to move beyond a beginners paddle to a higher level one!
Pickleball Paddle Perfection!: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The high performance of this Joola Ben Johns Perseus 3S paddle is the perfect pickleball-performing, point-scoring paddle! I love the grip and lightweight yet strong durable paddle for powerful hitting and dinking and awesome control!
The “magic paddle!”: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paddle was the most popular on the court today! You could definitely tell the difference in performance. The control and spin were incredible making it way easier to hit the ball than previously used paddles. The sweet spot seems larger and my kids loved how lightweight it was. It was called the “magic paddle!”
Perfect: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JOOLA Ben Johns Perseus 3S 14mm paddle delivers excellent power, spin, and control, ideal for advanced players. Lightweight and maneuverable, it suits fast-paced play. Some users mention a small sweet spot and potential durability issues but praise its performance.
Light and comfortable: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a light and easy paddle to use! The grip is comfortable and like the hit I get off of it. Easy simple design and colors. New favorite paddle.
For beginners that wanna feel like a pro at Pickle: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot wait to show it off to my cousins that play pickle ball. I love the color and the durability of it. I took it immediately outside and messed around with my boyfriend and the durability is like you’re a pro. I would 100% recommend this to anybody that even wants to start Pickleball.
Carbon surface paddle: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m new to pickleball and I got to try out this beauty today! I appreciate the shorter grip with a longer paddle because it helps me to gain more power and momentum. Overall, this paddle is high tech and sleek and has helped improve my confidence in the game.
Perfect for My skill and age.: I purchased this paddle in Dec. 2025, now they are saying it is illegal for tournament play. I can use it for recreational only. Being almost 75 yrs young in good health, this paddle works for me. Sometimes while dinking or just hitting the ball it takes very little exertion on my part. You have to be gentle with it. New players should not use it. Can you recommend a Joola that is carbon, not too expensive that performs equally and legal ?
Awesome control and pop: Night it for my son and he loves it. Says the pop and control is great
14mm 3S: Great paddle for drives, put-aways and serve returns but no forgiveness on sweet spot misses and not the best feel for dinks.
Amazing paddle...: Not for amateurs. Major pop and punch, grit holds for at least 3 weeks of tournament play but gets "seasoned" with powerful players quickly. Delaminates after 2 weeks pro play.
Pleased with Purchase: I just started playing with the Perseus 3S. First time out it was questionable however each time after it got better and now it’s great.
Good Performance but Bad Core: Performance is good, but after just one day of playing, the paddle's core was CRUSHED! After that, it just gets worse by the day, so when you play, you just hear the crushing sound, so it's annoying. However, I think the paddle's performance is good though I was terribly disappointed that the core was crushed early in my purchase and playing.
Amazing: Hola only allows reviews that don’t talk bad. They are horrible company. Rather than telling us that they are USA-a approved which doesn’t matter!!! How about you make a new paddle that is actually approved for us to play in tournaments on pickelballbrackets.com which 90% of us are because we aren’t pros yet. It’s absolutely crazy you ask us to put faith in Jolla to make a quality paddle and you continue to make excuses or redirect.
Great control: Very nice and good quality. Plenty of power and a lot more control and spin then the mod:
Awesome paddle: It’s a really good paddle. Less pop than the Gen 3 and Mod. Control is excellent and you still get a ton of power. As a person who plays in tournaments, I really do hope Joola will also have these USAPA approved.
