The JOOLA Perseus Pro IV is a lot of fun. I have the 14 mm version and it's one of the most explosive paddles I've played with. It's built for players who like to drive and attack, so it may be difficult for players who rely more on touch and finesse. For that reason, I don't recommend it for beginners. However, if you're a rising intermediate or advanced player who wants a high-level power paddle, the high price tag is worth it for you.

Slight improvement over Joola Gen 2: Received the Perseus 3s two weeks ago and have played it for about 12 hours. Previously played the Perseus Gen 2 for last 6 months. I didn’t buy the Gen 3. Overall the Gen 3s has a bit more power and spin though the increase in spin may be more a function of it being new. Sweet spot and feel are similar. I haven’t noticed the speed up after break in yet. I am glad this iteration appears to NOT be factory core crushed so better longevity is anticipated.
