Sticking with the Hyperion: I purchased this paddle about 90 days ago. I have been used to the Hyperion but thought I would try a faster paddle. It didn’t go well. I didn’t find near the power nor the touch that my old Hyperion had and not enough noticeable speed to warrant a change. I’m back to using a Hyperion.

16MM is better: I purchased the 14mm and 16mm versions, and I find the 16mm to be excellent – it feels better for both drives and when up at the net. The 14mm requires hitting the sweet spot, otherwise, it is unforgiving.

Refund and purchase of new Perseus: I originally had the Gen3 Perseus, absolutely loved it. However as you are aware it was recalled. Joola has subsequently refunded my money. I then bought the latest Perseus 14mm I also love it I find it faster and I do not have a problem controlling it. I did put some tape towards the bottom of the paddle and on the sides. It performs fantastic. Thank you so much. Just let Ben know that I am coming for him
