Quick handle , great control and misdirection: Sweet feel , amazing control. Feels like ping pong , it’s how pickleball should be played, not like tennis

Joola
The JOOLA Radius CGS 16 is widely praised for exceptional control, spin, and a table-tennis-like feel that appeals to finesse-oriented players. However, durability concerns—including neck breakage and paddle separation—and insufficient power for aggressive players are notable drawbacks that temper enthusiasm.

No durability: Only 6 months of use and the paddle body separated from the handle… not happy.

Great Paddle fit Table Tennis Players: I just love this paddle. Is Joola discontinuing the line? Table Tennis players rise up and demand this stays in production….please

The Joola Radius 16 will transform your game!: I bought the Joola Radius CGS 16 one month ago, and it improved my game considerably. I now have much more control over my shots than before, and I feel I can place the ball wherever I want. I liked the paddle so much that I bought a second one for my wife. She loves it, too! Thank you!

I don’t know why…: This is second Radius I bought. It doesn’t feel like as good as first one I bought two years ago. I really liked first one when it was new.

Great control paddle: This paddle is great for control and spin. Power? Not so much.

Exactly as advertised: This paddle performs exactly as advertised. Good balance, control and more spin than your average paddle.

Great choice!: Good surface, easy to spin. Not the cheapest but a solid value.

Great control, good sweet spot: I’ve been using the Radius for 13 months. 16mm thickness is ideal for the control I want, and I can get enough power when needed for my game. Light weight and low swing weight are good for tennis elbow- I believe. Produced great spin on my backhand, I believe surface is finally aging a bit, not quite as much spin after one year, but still decent. Great match for my style of game: short game, placement shots, and occasional power put away overheads.

Nice paddle: Try it ana to me was fairly good. It’s more for beginner to intermediate.

Love it!: I bought this paddle a few months ago and it has far exceeded my expectations— the feel is like no other paddle and I’ve tried a ton. Would recommend to anyone!!

Joola 16mm Radius: When this paddle comes out of the box. It is one of the most favorite paddles I have ever played with. However, after 3-5 months of usage. The neck seems to break. This has happened to me and other friends who play with this paddle. Great paddle, excellent touch, and feel. However, the durability of it is a big question mark for me. Therefore, I will no longer play this paddle going forward.

Great control but too underpowered: I love the shape and the table-tennis-like feel to to the paddle, but it's just too underpowered for me, even with lead tape.

Some will love this, power players won't: Really nice balance, feel, but lacks power. Even with some lead tape. However, the touch is amazing

A good dinking and blocking paddle: The Radius is consistent for dinks and blocks, but lacks power for many tasks at its natural weight. Serves and topspin drives require extra effort to generate much power. Hitting third balls requires extra attention to followthrough. Transition zone resetting requires conscious effort to push the ball, both as volleys and half-volleys. The ping pong inspired shape, with 8.2" width and 15.8" length, doesn't depart much from traditional paddle style. The

Epic paddle: If you like to put a lot of spin on the ball, this is the paddle without sacrificing power. From the first day I used you could definitely tell a difference. Also, I felt I had more control of my shots. The sweet spot isn’t as advertised but pretty darn close. Super stoked.

Great defensive paddle: I am able to control and direct my shots. Also, I have enough power on my shots. I have only been playing with this paddle for a short time and I am still getting used to this paddle.

“Edge to edge sweet spot” is a lot of hype. : I am always looking for a paddle that provides a lot of touch and control. I am a strong 4.0 tournament player that has been playing for over 6-years. My eyesight, and/or hand-eye coordination may not be the best, because I tend to miss-hit the ball a fair amount of the time. So, I have always been on the lookout for a paddle that can provide a very large sweet spot. So while the hype of edge to edge sweet spot is not at all true, this paddle doe

53621: I have been using this Joola Radius Paddle for 1 week now and love it. It has great control and spin on the ball. Love the shape of it and seems easier for me to move around and hit the ball. Awesome sweet spot. I did add a little lead top to help with the power for deeper returns. I'm used to using a selkirk S2 and Head gravity lite. It feels similiar to both of these paddles but I like it more. It gets more spin on the ball and has a larger sweet spot than the Head gravity lite. Awesom

53295: Paddle has excellent control, more spin than other paddles I have tried, and plenty of power. I tested dozens of other paddles over the last few months and this is the one. Great paddle for my style of game.
