Smart Paddle Technology!: One of the best paddles I have ever owned for singles. Major power and spin and short handle to maximize surface area for people with single hand backhands. Strange to say but it was like a "smart paddle" as when you swing into the ball it would generate springboard power, yet when you met the ball for resets, it had a dampening effect to reduce popping. Very sad to see it go. However, I would like to see the same shape in future paddles!
Illegal title: I think it’s a great paddle but it’s illegal to play with. When can I get a refund or trade for something that I can actually play with
Fire Power: I thoroughly enjoyed using this paddle before it was discontinued. It significantly enhanced my performance in both singles and doubles matches. The power it provided was particularly effective for passing shots, while the pop was beneficial for resets and intense rallies. I would gladly purchase it again if it were to receive USPA approval.
No other paddle like it!: Have tried dozens of paddles over the years. First paddle I would say I miss playing with if I use another.

Spin, power, and timing.: I have been looking for a paddle that made me comfortable. This paddle overall is my favorite I’ve ever had in the last two years. As I drilled with this it had become easier and easier to contain the power but also soft enough touch to dink consistently. Just a great tool for my game.
Greater Hand Speed, No power Loss: I bought the racket about 2 weeks before it was decertified. Although, I take some ribbing about the paddle being decertified, I decided to keep it as I love the way I play with it. The main advantages that I have experienced are much better hand speed and power on my ground strokes with less effort. I can block hard shots without the need to impart any input from me. I am 82 so your paddle in not a weapon in my hands.
Banned paddle: Before this paddle was banned, i tried it a few times and didn’t like it.
Best paddle on the market.: Awesome paddle love the shape and feel. Please make another one just like it , if this gets de-certified.

Looks nice: Can’t review because I couldn’t use it due to it being removed from approved tournament paddle list. I use other JOOLA paddles which I like. I’d like a refund and hopefully when next one gets approved I will get that one. I would like to keep the one I bought though, with a refund since it will probably be thrown away anyway!
read June 4 usapa statemenance before you buy.: love the paddle. I bought it because I tried it, the spin was unbelievable, 20% more shape on ball over carbon paddles. but with today's release that usapa tested and failed resubmission of gen3 chances of re approval looking poor. joola and usapa stories don't jive. joola silent on paddles failing and I am believing usapa as joola silent. I would guess it's spin/texture it failed on. if ur still interested don't be shy 14 mm. I played 16 mm go
Wonderful product: [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The paddle has a great weight to it. The grip on the handle is very nice and comfortable. It doesn’t cause any irritation. The product is constructed extremely well and built to last.
Good paddle: Paddle is slightly heavy compared to my previous JOOLA but packs a strong punch. Kind of wish the handle was a tad longer due to my larger hands. It would also be nice if there wasn’t an asterisk using this paddle in rec play due to the bans and what not. Feels like I get some dirty looks here or there. Price point is definitely high for what you get but I do like the paddle.

Great paddle: I bought this paddle a day before it was taken off the approved list. I played with it for 2 hours one evening and 2 hours the next day. I love the paddle, it feels great in your hand. I can control the ball well and it definitely has pop. All that being said I am so disappointed hearing it is taken off the list. I was hoping to play in a local tournament. I am not sure what to do, return it or keep using and hope it gets approved on time.
Joola Gen 3 - best paddles out there atm: Got this paddle for my son. I bought the Hyperion for myself. I love my Hyperion. My son likes the surface and core of the Tyson paddle but likes the shape of his old Anna Bright Scorpeus better. So, I guess I am buying another Joola Gen 3

Not a fan: This paddle has a loud pop sound when hitting it and feels like a 2x4 when hitting with it. Lots of power but no touch. I will try to seek it and stick with Gen 2 Perseus .
