This paddle doesn’t have the band around the base of the handle like most other paddles I used. It also has a weird nub on the bottom of the handle. Definitely worth the price.: This paddle is perfect for all around play. There is finesse with the soft dinks and packs a punch for serve speed. The ball just jumps off the paddle. The grip is perfect for my hand. I have a smaller hand than most so it’s hard to find a paddle that feels good. I love that the paddle has different grip sizes.! The medium rating is because I was intrigued by the paddles' descriptive hype, which included features to control vibration, rotational torque, while delivering added "pop."
