Don’t like it. Less control & to light: It’s not for me

Selkirk
The Selkirk Catherine Parenteau Vanguard Power Air Invikta is widely praised for exceptional power, spin, and responsiveness, with many reviewers reporting significant game improvement. However, some players struggle with control and dinking, and a notable minority report a smaller-than-expected sweet spot and difficulty adapting to the paddle's lively feel.

Invicta: The pop/power is quite evident, but the grit on the pedal allows for a great spin, which I really enjoy. Everything is right about it.

Pickleball Paddle : The Vanguard Air Ivanka Pickleball paddle that I purchased purchased has great control, power and spin. After an initial game or two and getting used to it I am very pleased with the way it functions.

Power Air Invikta: I was loaned this paddle and was told that it might take a week to get used to the feel and to dial it in. Within a few games I knew this was my next purchase. The ball pops off this thinner paddle design with a lot of speed. However what surprised me was the control I still felt with this paddle. Many of my friends have now bought this model too. #SelkirkAdvocate

Paddle review: The Selkirk power air just didn't feel good in my hands during play. It didn't hit like I thought it would. Of course this is a personal opinion. I have an Engage pursuit ultra MX and I love how that plays and hits!

Vanguard Power Air Invikta PickleBall Racquet: I LOVE this racquet and there is no doubt that it has improved my game. I am an intermediate player and it has kicked me up a notch. I am 70 years old and it has increased my power shots. The control is great also. The only thing I don’t like about it, and it’s very minor, is that the grip is white. I have to scrub it with water after each usage. I am careful not to have lotion on my hands, as well. Other than than, it is a super racquet.

Selkirk Invikta Power Air: This is the best paddle I have ever owned. I love the sound and feel and the extra length is a big bonus. The large sweet spot makes it almost hard to hit a bad shot!

Selkirk paddle: The best

Selkirk have created something truly impressive here. With its clever aerodynamic design and premium tech, the Power Air Invikta manages to deliver great value for money—even considering its $250 price tag. There is definitely a learning curve with this paddle, especially with the relatively small sweet spot. However, if you're an advanced player wanting to bring more power and spin into your game, you won't find much better than this.

Best paddle I've ever owned!: Amazing power plus control, spin, also great for soft game dinking & lobs. I am more confident on the court and have improved my level of play (3.5-3.8) with the Invikta Air. I do have TWO complaints: 1) The surface paint wears quickly, especially with outdoor play, but luckily does not affect performance. Still the paddle looks OLD after just several weeks of use. 2) I want to buy another but Selkirk will NOT let me select the weight I want! For the price

Selkirk Vanguard Invikta Power Air : First and foremost, it is important to note that the Selkirk Vanguard Invikta Power Air paddle is designed for power and control. This is achieved through a combination of features, including a larger sweet spot, a longer handle, and a unique polymer core. The paddle also boasts a sleek and modern design that is sure to turn heads on the court. One of the most impressive features of the Selkirk Vanguard Invikta Power Air paddle is the larger sweet spot. Th

Selkirk Invikta Power Air: i like how light it is but I do not like the sound it makes - also it is a harder hit because of the lack of thickness.

Selkirk Invikta Power Air: Great new paddle for me. I’m a 4-4.5 rated player. 35 y/o and 6ft tall and I love everything about this paddle. Great pop on my drives but also great control when dinking. I do recommend also purchasing the Selkirk 20mm edge tape but absolutely no complaints with this paddle!

Truly Exceptional. Perfect fit for the tennis player: My wife is a huge fan. The extended length has made all the difference. Transitioning from the bounce of a tennis ball and the difference in a pickleball has been a challenge for her. With the Selkirk Invikta, the transition has become easier to embrace. Pricey but given the benefit and improved play, more than worth the price.

Great spin and pop: Bought this paddle for my wife because she wanted something edge less. She loves it. I finally played with it for the first time today and was very impressed. I’m was getting way more spin and the power was impressive. Maybe have up a little touch/control but still performed okay there too. I would definitely recommend this paddle. It might be a little bit light for me but otherwise this paddle really was impressive. It was at the top end of my price range but I would say it

Almost Great: The VANGUARD Power Air Invikta Paddle has been a good buy. The gritty surface gives the ball plenty of spin. The paddle is responsive and feels light in the hand. The handle is long enough for two handed backhand. I would say my biggest issue is that there is a large dead spot at the top edge of the paddle. for that price point, it should be all sweet. It's not, and that's a shame.

Best paddle yet: I like to try various paddles, always looking for just the right one. I love this new paddles--lots of spin potential and power. Nice grip although I prefer a longer grip. Paddle is pushing the price limit but if you are looking for spin and power, I recommend this one.

Mixed feelings: The quality of this paddle is unsurpassed. It's beautifully designed and crafted. Even the paddle cover is top notch. For me however, this paddle was not a good fit. It has great power, but control and dinking were difficult to execute shots with predictable outcomes. If you're looking for a pure power paddle, this one might be OK for you, but I need more of an all around model. For now, I'm sticking with my Engage.
