Great Paddle — Pros: Lots of power for sure, very good spin, has a unique sound everyone hears and asks about. Grip is very good for my big hands. I initially bought a Gearbox GX2 and liked it alot. After playing with the Boomstick, I tried the GX2 again and can feel the huge difference in power, control and spin. Its too bad I spent the money on the GX2 because it sits in my bag collecting dust now. I highly recommend this Boomstick. I also compared this to the Joola pro IV Ben Johns and prefer this one much better. To me it just has much better feedback than the Joola as well. I'm surprised we aren't seeing more Pro players using it. — Cons: The only con is not really a con. Just like any paddle, you have to learn it and get used to it. At first I was launching balls until I got used to using it. I will not go back to the GX2 even though its a good paddle. The Boomstick is just so much better.

Amazing wide body power battle: Wide body Boomstik. Light for what it is, great control. The pop and power are pretty manageable for a 4.0 player. Very forgiving.i hope someday they put even more durable of a grit. Bought two, if that makes anyone see how much I like this paddle.

Love this paddle!: I've only been playing for about 6 months but tried two Joola's - a 14 and 16 paddle and just wasn't "feeling it." From the first time using this paddle, I knew it was the one. The hits are more effortless and the control is great for me. It does make a unique sound on contact which other's noted -- which I think is part of this paddles design. But that doesn't bother me in the slightest. Thank you Selkirk!

Favorite Paddle of all time!: I love this paddle! I can really tell the difference in speed and pop on my drives and my serves. The grit on the face also gives my spins a little something extra. I customize to a thin grip, and love the feel of the paddle in my hand. I wish the original grip was black instead of white. It has a different sound that my opponents comment on, but I got used to it quickly.

Great Sweet Spot, Great Sound. Love the Xtra Reach: I love the longbody because it just gives me that little bit of extra reach that I need. The elongated handle makes it easy to move back to the set position with both hands at the paddle. The sound you hear when you make a good shot is very rewarding.
