Six Zero

Six Zero Ruby Pro Pickleball Paddle

94Universal Acclaim

The Six Zero Ruby Pro is widely praised as an exceptional paddle that delivers outstanding spin and grip, with reviewers calling it the best paddle they've used in years. The Kevlar face provides excellent spin performance, though the premium pricing may not justify the upgrade for players who don't prioritize spin or already own the more affordable DBD model.

This feels like two of my favorite paddles—the Pickleball Apes Pro Line Energy S and the Six Zero DBD—had a baby. The Ruby is basically the DBD with a Kevlar® face. It gets great spin too, so will appeal particularly to spin players. If that's not you, though, I'd recommend sticking with the cheaper DBD as both are great all-court performers.
