Not Good for Hardwood Gym Floors: The X-40 is hands down my favorite outdoor ball so I am not anti-Franklin or anything like that. Unfortunately, these balls skid like crazy on hardwood gym floors. The ball will come in and bounce but stay low and speed up. I played with the blue color which does show up against the floor but frequently gets lost around waist level - that's a major problem. I am sure there is a floor these must be designed for but it is definitely not a hardwood gym floor. **

Bought for indoor at our Rec Center: These balls had no bounce, "dead", my plans were to replace the indoor balls at our Rec Center to start our Cold Weather season (more indoors). 12 people c/o these, asking "Where are the old balls", so I switched them back. Counter-sunk holes are bad design, plastic low quality: Spend your pickleball dollars elsewhere. I've bought 6 of these balls (2 cans of 3), and the quality is severely lacking. In one game (we don't smash very much) we split 2 of these balls down the seem. Even when new, they bounce weirdly off the large indented holes. Surprised: I was going to send these back because I thought I was getting bright orange balls and these are actually a washed out salmon color. Let me tell you, they magically appear much more vivid on the court. I love how live these balls are - responsive and fast! They do take a little time to adjust to but they're lots of fun once you do.

Defective product: I ordered the orange indoor balls and the ones I received were a very faded peach color. They didn't bounce well and definitely weren't visible on the court. PB ball performance and color: Ball plays well, though have only used for a few games so far, so not sure about durability. My only complaint was I ordered this is their "Orange" color for use on indoor gym wood floors. The color is more Salmon colored and does not contrast nearly as much as other more traditional Orange (darker) ball colors.
