Great for silent pickleball: If you live in a community where pickleball noise is an issue, these balls are great. The action is a little different - they bounce a little more and they fly further when hit hard, but the dinks are pretty similar to the plastic pickleballs. These are not what you would use when preparing for a tournament. Sound Issues at your Courts? Try a Gamma Ball: In comparing an outdoor plastic pickleball to the Gamma Librarian Foam ball using a quality paddle, it was discovered that the decibel sound (volume) was about 50% quieter when using the Gamma ball.
