Ball Reviews: Bought for ball machine. So far they have worked out perfect as far as consistent bounce and flight.

PickleballCentral
The SR40 Outdoor Pickleballs earn strong praise for durability, value, and cold-weather performance, with many reviewers comparing them favorably to premium brands like Franklin X40 and Dura at a fraction of the cost. However, a notable minority report quality control issues including out-of-balance balls, wobbly performance after brief use, and manufacturing defects like missing or improperly cut holes.

Out of Balance: I purchased the SR40 balls and half of them are out of balance and they don't spin normally. I wouldn't purchase these again. ***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Every ball is not designed for every player or environment. Pickleball balls SR40: Not the Franklin’s. Knock offs. When I spoke to the sales person I asked, “Are the balls seamless?” He didn’t realize Pickleball balls can come without a seam. I said I don’t want a seam and he said they are seamless. The balls have a seam. When I received the package, it said generic. I ordered outdoor balls. I’m sure they are meant for outdoors, but they are different than the Franklin. I would not get them again.***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to l

The SR40 is an awesome ball. It's between a Dura and the Franklin X40. : You should try the SR40 from Pickleball Central. Great value

Good ball for practice: These balls seem to play bit faster than X-40, but don't hold the shape and become wobbly after 10 min of play. Don't crack as easily as some other balls. So in general good ball for practice. For game - I don't think so.

SR-40 pickleballs: Got these to try out while on sale. These are no joke, plays similarly to x-40 if not better for way less. Don't let the generic name fool you. I ordered 700 of these balls while on sale to stock up and share with friends. Thanks for great product at super reasonable price.

Good balls: I bought the 100 ct for $99.00. I would compare these to the Core ball. I have played several games with them without saying what brand they are. Then I ask how the players liked them. All the comments were positive. They seem to be durable. I bought them for practice balls, but use them for playing as well now. Definitely good value at 1 buck each.

Stands up to cold weather: We play outdoors year round in New England. Everyone contributes balls. We began averaging at least 1 cracked ball every day. So far these balls are weather proof. And, they have a nice feel.

NW Balls: Our club plays at sea level in the NW. Temperatures can often be below 45°. These balls can handle the cold & wind. They Do Not break as often as other balls we use. I’m very happy how they have worked out.

Great!: 3 1/2 stars don’t do this ball justice, I give them 2 thumbs up. The other reviews here. One person that hasn’t even used them, Another that is reviewing the shipping speed and price (not the product). These balls play exactly like Dura, But they don’t break! Excellent balls and only $1 each. Everyone I play with also likes them.

SR40 PICKLEBALLS: So far so good. About a week now and so far, none have broken. They are very similar to Franklin 70balls, which break fairly regularly after about 2-4 weeks of play.
